What was done? What can be done?

There are some things the nation and church learned during the experience of the 1918 influenza pandemic. While those lessons are important to reflect on, were they learned?  Below I've included links for three articles discussed lessons learned. There are two articles with the same title but they are indeed different.

It's necessary that today and each day we pray for God's intervention in relieving those being affected and to heal those that are sick. What other things can we keep in prayer? I believe it's also necessary that we be active tangibly. So after reading the below articles, how is God speaking to you about tangibility?
